Chinmaya International Residential School, Coimbatore

Chinmaya International Residential School is a Co-Ed school which was established on 6th June 1996. It is run by the Chinmaya Mission. Their aim is to build the all-round personalities of children, who can grow up into global citizens. They follow C.B.S.E. and IB curriculum. The school was started with 96 students from class V to VIII and presently the school is run by the current Principal Shanti Krishnamurthy.

Ram Buxani SCHOOL HISTORY The school was founded by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. He traveled to different states to see the perfect view for constructing the school. He traveled to Bangalore, Lucknow, Andamans and Nicobar, and Himachal Pradesh. In the year 1984, he started collecting the money of Re 1/- from every house so that he can purchase the land. Finally, on 6th June 1996, the school was inaugurated by Pujya Swami Chidanandaji, President of ‘The Divine Life Society’.
