DAV International School was established in the year 1886. It is affiliated to C.B.S.E. The school covers the strength of 5500. They accommodate students from class I to XII and offers courses like Medical, Non- Medical, Commerce and Humanities and Vocational Courses. The school is spread over an area of 8.5 acres with lush green grasses and variety of plants and trees. The atmosphere of the school is pollution-free which creates a positive environment and motivates them to build the over-all personality development of the students.

Students must come to school in proper school uniform. They should keep their surroundings neat and clean. Students are punished for dis-respecting others, using abusive languages or shouting at the corridors. Attendence/ Leave/ Absence Authorities have the responsibility to approve the leave application of the students. Medical certificate is to be submitted to the school if he/ she takes a holiday for more than 3 days. Students who remain absent for more than 10 days without any information will be terminated. Those students have to pay the re-admission fee for re-joining the school. Students are eligible to sit in the final exam if they have more than 80% attendance in their academic year. Every year, students who maintain 100% attendance from class Pre- nursery to XII are awarded. School Property Students have certain responsibility towards school. To look after the school property. To keep all the walls and furniture’s clean. Students will responsible for all the losses and damages made to the school property. They will be penalized for it. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT Be late in the School. Bring any kind of prohibited items like Cameras, Cell- phones, CD’s, Watches, Video- Cassettes or any kind of items that may harm. Burst crackers and throw colours in or around the school premises. Use of unfair means during test and examinations. The school provides the Van facility for pick and drop. Students are taught in Smart Classes. The school has various labs such as Science Labs- Physics, Chemistry and Biology; Computer Labs which are well- equipped with latest hardware’s and software’s. Along with the studies, the school takes care of their physical strength as they provide various sports facilities like basketball, football, badminton, skating room, lawn tennis. They also have the yoga classes for the students.
