War Heroes Memorial School, Karnal

To honour those lost heroes and martyrs who gave them today for our tomorrow, the War Heroes Memorial School (WHMS) was founded. The country is pleased with them. We must respect their sacrifice and take care of their family. The Mugla-Duli Memorial Education Society oversees the co-ed day boarding school. WHMS is located 4 km north of Tehsil Town – Gharaunda and 15 km from the heart of Karnal. The school is in Village Basdhara, 110 kilometres from Delhi, between the RPIIT Group of Institutions and Powerhouse, just 300 yards to the east of GT Road. (WHMS) was founded to preserve the remembrance of those martyrs and fallen heroes who gave them today for our tomorrow. The country is pleased with them. Mass PT, mass drill, and mass yoga of all students and staff are done once a week to improve marching with pride and make the body virile, active, and mentally robust with proper music. National standard basketball is available for holding special matches. Facilities for volleyball, badminton, football, and beams for increasing height and doing abdominal exercises exist with courts. All late recipients of gallantry awards, including the Victoria Cross (1st and 2nd World Wars), PVCs, VrCs, ACs, KCs, and Scs, can be found in the library along with images and citations.
