About School:
The Kuriakose Elias Group of English Medium Schools was founded in 1991 and is located on the eastern slope of Mannanam Hill in Kottayam. The CMI Congregation and St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara’s first Sanskrit school were founded in Mannanam, a holy location. The schools, which are run by the CMI St. Joseph’s Province in Thiruvananthapuram, bear the name of this outstanding figure from Kerala’s 19th century.
On July 16, 1991, Kuriakose Elias School set out on its voyage as an unaided English Medium School, recognised by the Keralan government, with sections for upper primary and high school. The school introduced a kindergarten section and a nursery school in June 1995.The Higher Secondary Section (ISC) was later added to Kuriakose Elias English Medium School after it joined the ICSE board in February 2002.
The recognised State Syllabus was elevated to a Higher Secondary School in July 2002, including courses in science, commerce, and computer science. The ICSE Board and Kerala State are both connected with the group of two schools known as Kuriakose Elias English Medium School, which has distinct sections for each stream.
