Admission Procedure
The minimum age for studying in classes from Nursery – to XII is 3+ to 16+.
Subjects Offered
All CBSE subjects, includes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Psychology, Economics, Political Science, History, Sociology, and Business Studies, are required for grades XI and XII.
Accountancy, English, Hindi, Biotechnology, Informatics Practices, Painting, Physical Education, and all potential combinations are available for Class XI and XII within the Science, Humanities, and Commerce courses.
Special preparation for IIT, NEET, CLAT, CAT, NDA, and other competitive exams is organized under School arrangements on extra charges.
Any future session’s registration/admission form should be completed and sent to the school along with the required fees. A child who registered earlier is given preference. Prior registration is a pre-condition for admission. Reliable proof of age is required.
Disciplinary Measures
Instead of focusing on negative behaviour, we want to promote positive behavior. However, when necessary, we do impose the proper sanctions.
COUNSELLING
Informal communication between students and teachers helps students to understand the nature of their mistakes and their consequences.
MEETING
To inform parents of inappropriate behavior and to make recommendations for parental support and action, the school will arrange a meeting.
For individualized corrective guidance and motivation, the child is referred to the Personality Assessment and Development Centre.
PREP
Closely supervised and guided preps that cater to the individual needs of each child with experienced teachers of every department holding tutorials in the tutorial rooms. Students are provided specially designed assignments, aide-memoir, and tests during prep. Close and friendly academic interaction among students and students and teachers, involving syndicate working, problem-solving, and discussion form an integral and important part of the prep. Scholarships are given to deserving children as well as those who show major improvement. The EARN WHILE YOU LEARN (EWL) programme has great benefits for students as well.
Food & Nutrition
Food is provided in accordance with nutritional concepts found in widely used publications and the many years of experience managing boarding schools, including a Sainik School. The criterion for well-balanced food is the health of children in the long run and not taste or likes/dislikes. Another criterion for good food is low sickness rate and general fitness. The diet is aimed at producing the right mental ability for academics, study, and thinking process, avoiding hyperactivity and excitement, and controlling severe addiction to a particular dish or type of food.
Co-Curricular Activities
A well-equipped language lab with internet access is available at CSKM School. The school uses some of the best ELT tools available, including teaching materials from the British Council, University Press, Oxford University Press, and BBC Multimedia 5 Language Learning Course. Poetry workshops, speeches, debates, writing for the media, language games, storytelling, and story writing are all entertaining ways to express oneself creatively. Through regular visits to the British Council Library, book displays, expanded reading spaces, and adaptable reading groups, booklove and a love of literature are developed.
We organize the Annual Lady Aruna Prasad Memorial Poetry Competition to allow staff and students to develop their talents in poetic expression.
A variety of games and sports are available on CSKM. Cricket, soccer, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, cycling, skating, chess, tennis courts, splash pool, multigym, and swimming pool are among the sports that can be played in our facilities.
CSKM School offers a balanced education with equal emphasis on academics and sports.
There is an emphasis on team spirit, sportsmanship, and purposeful, goal-oriented activities. Coaching for students with talent in specific games and visits from famous Indian and foreign coaches for enrichment are regular features.
