About School:
The Good Shepherd International School is a co-ed boarding school in Ooty, Tamil Nādu. It is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Also provides IB/Cambridge/ISC learning curricula for a holistic growth of the students.
It was founded by the late Dr. P.C. Thomas and Mrs. Elsamma Thomas in the year 1977. It Both began their careers as teachers, which fuelled their vision and goal of creating the best educational institution for children to learn and grow in. In 1995, the Good Shepherd Public School became an international school of the highest calibre of learning.
The Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination is taken after a two-year course of studies following the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination or its equivalent.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Geneva, Switzerland, offers a diploma programme for students in their final two years of secondary school.
The Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is a two-year curriculum programme that results in a certificate that is internationally recognized as being of the equivalent in standard as the British GCSE and International GCE ‘O’ LEVEL Examinations.
