Tagore Public School, Ludhiana

Tagore Public School was established in the year 1975. It was found by Late Lala Puran Chand Gupta Ji- Municipal Commissioner in the year 1964, who left behind him the imprints of his values that the school follows on. He also established The Ludhiana Aggarwala Co-operative H’B Society Ltd. and was the founder of The Ludhiana Aggarwala Dharmashala. The school is affiliated to C.B.S.E. They believe that education is just like a treasure, the more you share, the more you gain.

The Motto of the school is Devotion, Light, and Knowledge that are the basic needs of education i.e. “Education kindles the ignorant souls.” The light of knowledge is like the golden rays of the sun which motivates towards the infinite wealth of education. The school motto is “a Lighthouse” which encourage to achieve knowledge through dedication and devotion. AIMS AND OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHOOL The aim of the school is the overall development of the students so as to build them a balanced and cultured citizen. The school believes that it will help children’s to grow and will make them as a responsible, disciplined, and self-controlled citizen. The aim and scope of the school are as follows- To attain the requisite educational standard and acquire mental, moral and physical qualities essential for their progressive and continued development as citizens of the society. To provide the behavioral training that will help them to develop their character, self- confidence, leadership and management qualities. To develop an interest in extracurricular activities, interactive skills and personal relation. A WORD FOR STUDENTS- If you respect yourself, you will get respect from others. Parents are required to help and support the school for the progress of their children. Students who are sick, should not be sent to the school. To overcome the difficulties of the children, Parents are always welcome to discuss with the teachers. Parents must know their child’s friends or the person, to whom they meet. Facilities The school provides the following facilities to the students- Laboratories They have well- equipped Science Labs I.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology Labs; Maths Lab. Libraries They have a large library which contains a large collection of books on different subjects, more than 20 magazines, journals, newspapers, and periodicals. Sports The school provides the facility for football, basketball, kabaddi, gatka, track, and events to strengthen the students.
