Key Information:
Dorms
Large & spacious dorms facing the natural beauty of the valley and views of the Bhilar waterfall are the highlights of our boarding facilities. It’s rare, that such mesmerizing landscape can be witnessed right from your window. The dorms are kept clean and tidy thanks to our Maushis who ensure the daily routines are not skipped. Children are given lockers to store their stuff in a safe and secure place. There are separate, remote dorms for boys and girls.
Counselor on board
Our onboard counselor & Remedial teacher, Ms. Richa helps the children to understand their problems & settle down in the new environment, away from home. Dealing with their emotional and psychological problems. We understand that children often live apart from their parents and other family members, and that in order to develop into young, forward-thinking humans, they need the proper understanding and support. Their counseling sessions are formally reported and discussed with parents during Parents Teachers Meetings (PTM’s) & when required. Slow learners and people with special needs should receive expert care to ensure they can function at their own pace and level without being pressured to perform. Stressfully with the rest of the class. This enables us to keep them to be stress-free/competition-free bringing in an academically healthy environment which is a unique feature of our school.
Medical Attention
When children become ill, regardless of the cause, they are treated right away by either taking them to the doctor or providing them with alternative treatments for minor symptoms. Parents are advised not to give their children any medications because they can be misused or cause other problems. All medications and any doctor’s prescriptions should be given to our dorm matrons or masters, who will take care of the children’s medical needs for any current or prior illnesses in the proper manner without any hesitation or hiding from parents.
Sick bay
In order to temporarily separate sick students during school hours, the school has set up a sick bay. There, a nurse or other staff member is on hand to keep track of the students’ health, administer timely medication as prescribed by the doctor, and keep track of their temperatures.
Play Areas
The children are provided enough free time to play, which contributes in the development of their motor, cognitive, physical, and mental health skills. For free play after school, our young kids have access to a separate toy room. Children can have a lot of fun, bond with their roommates, and develop an early interest in gymnastics and fitness in the sand pit, slides, and swing park, as well as in open gym.
Dining & Mess
Every parent sending their child to a boarding school would be concerned about a healthy and balanced diet meal. Only pure vegetarian meals, similar to what you may prepare at home, are served at our school in Panchgani. Our managing trustee, Mrs. Chandrika Shah, makes sure students receive a variety of fresh and unprocessed foods every day to gain the vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre, protein, and antioxidants in their bodies which require to support their immune systems. It is advised and encouraged to drink enough water.
Celebrating Festivals
All Indian festivals like Ganesh Chathurthi, Independence Day, Janmashtami, Teachers Day, Republic Day, etc are celebrated with much zeal, enthusiasm & bonding of team spirit. The feeling of togetherness is inculcated through these events, increasing the patriotism for the country, and encouraging leadership & brotherhood qualities.
