Summerfield School is one of the best CBSE boarding schools in Dehradun. It was founded in the year 1987 to address the need for quality education in rural areas of India at that time. The summer field school campus is set in sylvan surroundings on the western edge of the Doon Valley, tucked between the Garhwal range of the Himalayas in the north and the Shivalik mountain range in the south. “Just 1.5 km away from the Yamuna and its sparkling glory.” It is near Mussoorie and Chkarata, the two most popular hill stations in Uttarakhand. The CBSE-affiliated institution provides quality public school pattern education and co-ed boarding facilities for boys and girls, with separate hostels and special care to nurture values in the growing students. Summer field school proudly celebrated 25 years of its existence in 2012. Students of Summerfield are doing well for themselves in the fields of medicine, engineering, the armed forces, industry, and services in India and abroad. This institution has had 20 batches of class X students and 8 batches of class 12 students pass out, successfully gaining laurels for this institution.
