The Shree Gurudatta Education Society served as the umbrella organisation for the establishment of Sharad Pawar International School in 1997.” Since then, the school has rapidly grown with gigantic strides to boast of 1200 students and 65 teachers, and over 100 support staff under its educational umbrella. S. P. I. S. proudly occupies a 20-acre piece of property known as “Dattabhoomi,” which is bordered by the Sahayadri Ranges and set against the backdrop of the Girna and Markendya rivers. The school enjoys the blessings of the goddess “Sapta-Shrungi,” which gives it a holistic and spiritual atmosphere. Co-educational S.P.I.S. offers day boarding and/or residential programmes and uses the CBSE, New Delhi, curriculum.It is innovative, child-centered, and fully committed to providing quality education to all its pupils. For boys and girls, the school features separate 600-bed hostels that are nicely decorated. The hostels offer both private rooms and dorm-style accommodations for childrens. The hostel receives a constant supply of power and water, as well as hot water for bathing via a solar water heating system. A constant supply of clean drinking water is provided. To ensure that the kids have a comfortable stay in the dorms, each hostel has a rector and a staff of housemasters, mistresses, and matrons.
