Shiv Chhatrapati Shikshan Sanstha, Latur, maintains the residential/day boarding school “Sant Tukaram National Model School”. Dr. Gopalrao Vittalrao Patil, the organization’s founder and chairman is a man with high priorities. In the year 2009, the institution’s foundation was set. A group of Trustees who are wholly committed to the cause of education and educational service make up the school’s management team. The goal is to transform “Sant Tukaram National Model School” into a facility that promotes a full education. It is open to all communities regardless of caste, creed, or colour and is secular. The school is situated on 17 acres of land at Barshi Road in the Latur suburbs and follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi curriculum. The clothes of students are properly washed, dried, and ironed. Barber is called every week for the haircutting of the students. They are very kind, courteous, honest, and kind-hearted, and they all live together at the hostel as a single family. The hostel also takes care of the entertainment of students by showing movies every Saturday. Every festival is celebrated with devotion and enjoyment with the complete participation of the students and sweets are provided to them. In this way, it looks after the overall development of students. VISION Life is so much more complex than what the average person can understand or feel. Co-Curricular Activities Sports The importance of sport to college life cannot be overstated. The main campus is the SANT TUKARAM NATIONAL MODEL SCHOOL with the best on-site sports facilities. There are fully functional, well-maintained cricket, rugby, and football fields. There are also hard courts for netball and basketball. There is a multi-gym inside with free weights and various other pieces of equipment. You can hire these wonderful facilities as well. Outside of the academic year, particularly over the summer, training and residential programmes are offered. Every ability is catered for by college sports groups. Students who have never thought of themselves as athletic can take part for fun or to try something new.
