Miri Piri Academy, Amritsar

Miri Piri Academy was established in the year 1997. It was established by Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji, also known as Yogi Bhajan as he was mastered in Kundalini Yoga. He was a great motivator for thousands of Sikhs who follow them. Miri Piri Academy was established to teach the values of Siri Singh Sahab. His Motto was “If you can’t see God in all, you can’t see God at all.” His credo was “It’s not the life that matters, it’s the courage that you bring to it.” His challenges to student- “Don’t love me, love my teachings. Become ten times greater than me.”

Motto Of The School The motto of the school is to train the future leaders, teachers, and healers of the world through discipline, quality academics and a strong sense of self. Academics For the high school, they organize the academic activities like curriculum and testing programs. They teach the students through project-based and multiple intelligences concepts. The school teach all the subjects in English except the Punjabi Language. Accerdiation The school provides the IGCSE, AS and A-level certificates, as it is accredited to University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). They are also the Advanced Placement Center. Curriculum As the school is accredit to CIE, they prepare students for the IGCSE, AS and A-level certification. They also provide classes for, Computer Technology Punjabi Language Yogic philosophy and practice Gurbani Kirtan and Tabla Fine Arts Grades 5th TO 8th The students from class 5th to 8th are taught the subjects like English, Maths, Combined Science- Physics, Chemistry and Biology, History and Geography. Grades 9th TO 11th The students get the option for joining in class 9th to 11th through ESL that is determined by the WIDA English Proficiency Test.
