ADMISSION Admission is given based on an entrance examination conducted by the school. Overseas students may be admitted if they have demonstrated extraordinary academic performance in their prior school. Meritorious students from good Indian schools with a good academic record may be awarded direct admission if they show certified mark sheets from their current schools for the previous two years. ADMISSION PROCEDURE The school academic session starts in the first week of April every year and ends on March 31st of the subsequent year. Hence, applications for admission of boarders need to be done by March 1 in the year that admission is sought. It is best to apply early Academic Scholarship KCM World School provides limited partial scholarships to deserving female students and other students based on need and merit. Parents of admitted students may apply for scholarships or bursaries in writing to the principal in confidence, along with evidence of merit or need. Entrance Examination The school conducts an entrance examination for children looking to get admission to KCM World School. The entrance examinations need to be taken well before the commencement of the new academic session. The dates of these entrance examinations are communicated to parents of students seeking admission by the school admissions office well in advance. Admission offers will be made depending on the outcomes of these exams and the number of seats available in each class. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION EXEMPTION The school also provides the direct offer of admission to children with a proven academic record. Parents can apply for an entrance examination exemption and try for direct admission for their kids. It is important to enclose the last two years’ report cards and supporting certificates/testimonials. OVERSEAS APPLICANTS In the case of overseas applicants, admission will be given based on the previous academic performance of the child. The school also requires details of the academic record of the pupil, their current mark sheets, and a letter of recommendation from a schoolteacher.
