About School:
Him Jyoti School is a residential CBSE affiliated school established by Rtn. Sudarshan Agarwal the former Governor of Uttarakhand. His main motive was to create a training ground for life. It is an all-girls school and the girls from impoverished families of the state are provided with free education, meals, uniforms, toiletries, accommodation and all other requirements. It costs Rs.60, 000/- per year to support each girl in the Boarding School.
Admission Process:
Admission will be done only through the entrance test.
Entrance Test registration will be from Oct-March till the entrance exam
Entrance tests conducted in different districts of Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand Girls having 60% or more are eligible for entrance test (Some seats are reserved for Sikkim Girls)
Selection will be on merit
Girls family should be below Rs 8000/- and age between 9-11 years
One girl child per family is eligible for admission only.
