Key Information:
Infrastructure
We need a home that is more than all luxury.
Three stories of academic and non-academic buildings make up the extravagant infrastructure, which can comfortably house a large number of students. The entire structure has central air conditioning and good lighting. For extracurricular activities, separate rooms are available. The campus is constantly under CCTV surveillance, allowing for ongoing monitoring of campus activity. The students can feel at ease and comfortable because there is a complete water and electrical backup system.
The School Libraries
From the Dear Corner of the Primary wing on, the School Libraries GIS has placed a strong emphasis on helping learners develop the habit of reading. The libraries are fully supplied, which aids by providing the ideal medium for information and awareness, in the form of attractive and informative books, to the young student’s eager brains.
Senso-Motor Lab
These abilities are based on kids’ capacity to move about and get along in their surroundings. The better the youngsters can manage themselves and complete activities, the more conscious they are of their surroundings and the consequences of their actions.
Computer labs
The computer labs are fully equipped with the most modern technology and an IT staff that enables our children to become tech-savvy millennials.
Labs for science
In GIS, there are well-equipped scientifically designed laboratories that inspire young minds to engage in active experimentation and research as well as inspire them to guide the country on the path of scientific innovation.
Laboratory for Mathematics
The idea behind the mathematics laboratory is one more attempt to improve learning effectiveness and enjoyment. It is an activity-based pedagogy that promotes inquiry and exploratory learning under the skilful direction of an experienced teacher in the teaching of mathematics at the primary and middle levels. Modern furnishings, modern instruments, and enough equipment are installed in the lab to allow each youngster to play with and conduct experiments.
Auditorium Ekam
The Ekam Auditorium is a venue where things “happen.” It has a huge seating capacity of about 1000 people and the most innovative audio-visual facilities. The soundproof auditorium is used for a wide variety of activities.
Day Care
Day care is “a structured environment with teachers who are qualified to administer, care for, and educate.” We watch over and take care of our Tiny-Tots at Day Care so that their parents can attend to their obligations while they stay after school and rest.
Dining Hall Ekam
Students at GIS have breakfast in class with their peers and teachers as a pedagogical tool for teaching table manners, food culture, nutrition, and healthy eating habits as well as for promoting the consumption of vegetables and fruits. A fruit break at the start of each day is healthful.
Philanthropic Ventures (Sharing social responsibility)
GIS thinks that to develop empathy for every aspect of mankind, students should be exposed to various aspects of poor society. They will be affiliated with various NGOs and actively take part in their initiatives to improve, rehabilitate, and revitalise the lives of children with disabilities, orphans, and senior persons.
Boarding House
Boarders who have been well-cared for, given healthy and well-balanced meals, and are closely supervised in preparation and games activities find it to be a very comfortable and timesaving stay at both boys’ and girls’ boarding houses, which are well-ventilated with AC-fitted dorms. Additionally, occasionally trips, excursions, and adventure camps are planned.
Sanjeevani: The Hospital
Sanjeevani – The school’s lifeline is the infirmary, where pupils receive immediate medical attention and periodic physical examinations under the supervision of a team of doctors.
Gaushala
The gaushala is a special element of Gateway that fosters the animals’ sense of love and compassion.
