In 1989, the school opened its doors. It was founded to address the long-standing and urgent demand of the local population for an English-medium, co-educational day and residential institution dedicated to a high standard in the academics on par with the top institutions of this sort providing education across the nation. It starts out by offering facilities and a huge sense of relaxation to parents and students who ordinarily looked to reputable institutions for travels that demanded their precious time and relieved them of a feeling of lingering anxiety about the safety of their wards studying in a distant location.
