Don Bosco Academy was established on July 1973. It is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. The patron of the school is Saint John Bosco. He was born on August 16, 1815. He got inspired to open the school through his circumstances as when he was just 3 years old, he lost his father and then he spent his entire life in poverty and was unable to attend the school. All these circumstances motivated him to open the school for the poor street children.
