Coed, English-medium Axel Public School is located in Lokhra, Assam’s tranquil, quiet, and beautiful green countryside, 10 kilometres from Dispur, the state capital. As announced in the school administration, registration for all courses from Preparatory to XI begins. No written exam is given to applicants for the preparatory and nursery classes. For applicants to classes I through IX, a written exam is given. Children who enrol will receive an invitation to a basic assessment exam to determine where they should be placed in the programme. Students are admitted to class XI depending on merit. The examination and the selection committee are also factors in the admission to any given class. Selected candidates must present a transfer certificate from the school they attended starting with the first day of class.
