Assam Valley School is one of the finest co-educational boarding schools in North-East India which was established in the year 1995 by the William Magor Educational Trust. It is situated over an area of 95 hectares. The school aims to build students of the 21st Century who can face the challenges with courage and enthusiasm. The school is affiliated to CISCE board.

Aim Of The School The aim of the school is to provide a healthy environment where students can learn and play. They believe in motivating the students so that they can become a responsible citizen and can develop a sense of community living. Vision Of The School The vision of the school is to provide an environment where students can develop their potential and enhance their physical, emotional, cultural and artistic skills. Facilities Facilities provided by the school are as follows- Library The school has an air-condition library which contains 1,70,000 fiction and non-fiction books, journals, magazines, encyclopedia. Hostel facility They provide the hostel facility to students of class 6th to 12th. They have 8 hostel buildings, 4 for boys and 4 for girls. These houses are named after the tributaries of the Brahmaputra river. They are taken cared by the two housemasters or housemistresses. Sports The school provides various sports facilities like cricket, hockey, basketball, volleyball, soccer, badminton, archery, horse-riding, swimming, yoga etc. to make them physically fit. Activities The school organizes and provides facility to learn and participate in various competitions like debate, elocution, dance, music, art and craft, and photography etc. Medical Care Center The school believes that it’s their responsibility to take care of every student and teacher. They have a medical center which provides a 32-bed facility which is run by the ten professional team members. The infrastructure is so designed so as to get the home like feeling to the sick students. They also have the ambulance facility for the emergency conditions.
