Amrit Indo Canadian Academy, Ludhiana

Amrit Indo Canadian Academy was established in the year 2005. It is affiliated to C.B.S.E. They believe that education is the tool which strengthen and promote the society and makes healthy nation. In year 2004, Amrit Educational Society was founded by S. Harminder Singh. This society established Amrit Indo Canadian Academy and the functioning started from April 14, 2005.

The goal of the school is to work as a family member to develop self-directed and cooperative students. They teach the moral values to the students so that they treat everyone with respect, help others, act responsibly, courteously and safely. They also expect to take care of the school property. INFRASTRUCTURE The school is situated in calm atmosphere which is free from smog- congested streets and therefore it creates a positive and healthy environment. It covers an area of 5 acres. The school building is divided into two blocks i.e. administrative and teaching block. This is done so that the student doesn’t get disturbed in the studies and both the teachers and the parents can communicate and solve the problem easily. The campus has a friendly atmosphere as each teacher help the students in their academic and extra-curricular activities. Facilities The school provides the following facilities to the students- Laboratories They have well- equipped Science Labs i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology Labs; Maths Lab; S.ST. Labs. Computing Facility The school is well-equipped with 40 desktops which are configured with Windows XP operating system. Libraries They have a large library which has a collection of books on different subjects, more than 20 magazines, journals, newspapers, and periodicals. Digital and Interactive Classrooms The students get to widen their knowledge through projectors and interactions. Divinity Classes The students are taught divinity subjects as they are compulsory as they provide moral values to the students. Sports The school provides the facilities like football, basketball, kabaddi, gatka, track, and events. They also celebrate sports day in the month of October for two days. Trips and Camps The School takes the students on adventure trips and camps where they get the opportunity to explore and see the things in real life.
