Agra Public School is a Day Boarding School which was established in the year 1965. The main aim of the school is to transform each student’s personality so that they can live a social and personal beneficial life. They believe that their students are mines of precious talent. They are complex beings with spiritual and psychological needs. Every student needs to build-up their knowledge through academic discipline, team-work, problem-solving ability as they come from the residential and non-residential house.

DORMITORIES From morning till they go to bed, students spent their time in dormitories. The school believes that the dormitories are not just the residential quarters for students but it’s the home for them. There are separate dormitories for boys and girls. Four children are placed in each room, which has attached toilet facilities. The students are supervised and assisted by the dorm master and mistresses in their study. They also provide counseling at the end of the month and monitor the progress of the children. Apart from studies, the children also contribute to work by helping inside and outside the dormitories. Making the beds, tidying up tables, folding blankets are just but three of the tasks that the children get involved in though they are not required to, their contribution to the home chores. Th students are also assigned the small task of keeping cleanliness, discipline, punctuality, and care of laundry work so that they can have the sense of responsibility and the students are rewarded for their work. By this, they get well trained to handle their responsibility without the help of matron. FOOD The school has a big dining hall where every student have their meals beginning with the prayers. They provide mouth-watering vegetarian dishes- North Indian, South Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines, Chaats and pizzas and deserts. COUNSELLING The students and staffs have friendly relationships where the staff members understand and help them to solve their problem. The school has further enlisted the services of professional counselors, resident and guest counselor to supplement their efforts in a professional way. Suffice it to say that the student’s problems are treated with confidentiality.
